I was trying to look for it but I couldn't find one in my empty hdd1 slot. Where should I get it if it didn't come with my machine? I have a 17r3.
Thx

The Revelator Notebook Prophet
If you mean the interposer, it should be there, but it's not obvious. When you remove the drive bracket/cradle, you will find a sub-bracket, the structure that holds the four outside screws. At the connector end, the interposer is connected to or inserted in the sub-bracket. At first blush, it appears to be part of it. The interposer is covered with a rubber or plastic casing and has to be twisted or maneuvered a little to get it free from the sub-bracket and then removed from the casing or sleeve. It is very easy to overlook.

When I tried to install my SSD, I spent 5 minutes getting annoyed thinking that Dell didn't include the second interposer, then I looked inside the caddy and saw it was there -

Do you have a second connector for your hard drive if you only order one?
