I know it has a separate mic and headphone ports, but am wondering whether it also supports a single 3.5mm 4-pole combo audio jack (i.e. carries both mic and audio in single jack) ?

Thinking of buying a wireless headset which also can be used wired if needs be.

I believe it will only work as normal headphones. At least on R4 they work as normal headphones only without mic. Tried with both made for iPhone and android headphones.

Thanks. Guess I will have to get a splitter for a new headset then.
