Does confusing the 6900M card to 7900 really work?

Please read the notes and comments, just to be sure if it will work on X-fire.

I’m not really sure how CF will perform with these drivers but you can give them a try, if you decide to do so, please report back with your findings.

In theory CF should work fine but there’s always that chance that it won’t. I haven’t tested yet so I really don’t know. What I need is a lab rat…if you know what I mean.

I only installed the driver off the page, was too lazy to do any file modding, but I have the SSAA option in the drivers.

xeroxide, make sure you have the Advanced View turned on in CCC or you won't get the extended options.

Oh yeah, I should add that I couldn't get 12.3 WHQLs installed, but this driver installed totally painlessly. Go figure. 12.4 now.

i've gained some scores here as well...infact 13 400 on Vantage graphics. I've never got that kind of score before.

    BTW, version 3 is out

The version 3 allows you to use overclocking tools with third party apps again, for those of you missing that with 12.3 WHQLs.
