    hey guys as shown on title does it really worth keeping my m17xr2?

    :S would TheWiz get up bios mod for GPu :S i know CF 5870 are perfect

    but new is good :D just being reasonable.. 6970.. sli 470 :p then i wont betray my m17xr2

    :S so whats ur opinion? should i wait or just give up my R2?

    :S my r2 is powerful really :S 920xm.8gb RAM SSD+HHD RGB LED CF5870 :Swhat keeping me mad is i hate to be stucked with same GPU without upgrading them so can someone give me his advice? as i said CF 5870 are damn nice and better than 6970 but come on seriously this laptop should be upgradable :S not keeping us stucked with same gpu until we exchange it with new one

    Honestly, if you feel like you cant live with the old tech stuff, just get the newest one. A thread like this, even if everyone recommends to keep the r2, it can only convince you for a while. Then everytime u see a R3 you will be thinking/regreting again. U cant keep ur mind free.
    If you do need dual gpus/build quality/rgb screen, be happy keeping ur R2 and buy a m18x later.
    Other than that, take a R3 so u wont have to make any thread like this again :D

    naah am not thinking about r3 cuz i hate single gpu :p dual are the best but what am saying is there any chance for another dual gpu better than the one we have got CF 5870 :s OR r2 owners are stucked

    with some severe modding you can get SLI GTX 470m's to work in an R2, but i doubt it'd be a project you would want to undertake.
