    Does the M17x R2 Throttle like the M15x?

    Has anyone done the Furmark test?

    No it does not. You will get some throttling at high overclocks with the dual 4870/5870s but I've got workarounds for that. At stock clocks or even medium-high ones (e.g. 860/1050) you won't see any throttling. It's only once you cross 900 mhz core that you experience some throttling and that's mainly isolated to Vantage. If you're thinking of moving up to the M17x, go for it. I had the M15x too (I noticed you post in the throttling thread) and I like the M17x-R2 a lot better.
