    Does the M17x R3 have a TPM?

    Search didn't seem to find anything. I read and searched the FAQ, etc. ;)

    I'm thinking about setting up BitLocker, having a TPM would simplify things. I don't see TPM mentioned in the BIOS, so I'm curious whether it has one or not, and if so, how would I go about activating it?

    Google search seems to indicate that the R1/R2 had a TPM.

    I dont' have my laptop with me, but i don't think the m17x r3 has a TPM chip.

    The way to check for sure is to look at your device manager...if you have the TPM chip, it will be under security devices
