MY M17X R2 for a while would always get a BSOD on start up. I eventually found a Graphics Card driver that fixed the problem. But now when I put it in sleep mode, it doesn't want to wake up. Even though the keyboard is lit. I have read in these forums that an updated Bios would do the trick. Can someone please direct me to BIOS update instructions for dummies? Scares the crap out of me, and I would like to complete the step's correctly.

    Thanks!

    Welcome to the forum.

Here is the latest bios for the R2, basically just download and run the program and it will do the rest. As far as the wake issue, what are your system specs? If your using AMD cards (4870/5870) Try installing the stock dell GPU drivers, than install the latest AMD drivers over top of the dell drivers. Don't remove the dell drivers.

Thanks again. Looks like my woes was due to a bad HD. Dell is sending me a new one.
