hey guys and gals
i was thinking about doing some regular clean up for my R4
so i have decided do some repasting, both cpu and gpu
and get a notebook cooler
so can you guys help me decide on a paste?
it should give a good performance, enough for atleast 2-3 applications for BOTH, cpu and gpu, and easy to apply and clean
also can someone guide me on how to remove the heatsink and apply the paste properly?
i have shortlisted the following pastes

also which cooler would be appropriate? as the vents are on the corners of the laptop
most coolers i have seen, have a large fan in the middle, which i dont think would be effective for R4...
i have shortlisted the following
Cooler Master NotePal U
Cooler Master NotePal U2
any other suggestions are warmly welcomed!
thanks in advance

Arctic Silver 5 and MX-4 are very popular, same for the Cooler master U2.
As for the guide
CPU repaste
GPU repaste -
well thanks for the reply!
i have ordered this paste
Cooler Master Extreme Fusion X1 (RG-EFX1-TG15-R1) Thermal Interface
they said it has a very high conductivity (9.5W/mK) and it is non conductive -
is it possible to apply the paste without removing the whole gpu assembly?
as in removing only the heat sinks and keeping the gpu in its slot?
and then applying the paste
and also, is there any specific order to screw/unscrew the heatsinks as the screws have numbers beside them
Doing a regular cleanup, need suggestions
