I installed my drivers for my system from Dell's Drivers and Downloads the other day...
Today Windows Update gave me an update for my Dell Bluetooth 370 minicard. The driver is 6.3.5.430. The one on Dell's website is 6.2.0.9603
Did anybody else get this today via Windows Update?

I don't normally apply driver updates from Windows Update (had issues in the past), but, I decided to take this one ... can't remember why though ...
Edit:
Oh! Haven't had any issues with the new driver so far either ...

After too many nightmares over the years of Windows Update FUBARing the drivers for modems & NICs, causing the end user to no longer have internet access until they bring the pc into the shop I ran or call for support when I worked for Dell, there's no way I would be willing to install a driver update it recommends.
It is helpful for a reminder to check the manufacturer's website to see if a new driver is available though.
For those willing to give it a shot, good luck! -
So far so good... I image the system using Acronis before any Windows Update because I also have had trouble in the past - especially with drivers.
But this one appears to be okay... -
It seems like the update made my bt keyboard and number pad connection more stable.
I usually don't update windows drivers but tried this one due to horrible connection on my devices. Thanks, and rep+ -
