for the most part the Dell site is the best place to get your drivers

Though I often get the lastest video drivers from NVIDIA directly.

The cleaner your referring to is a program that completely removes all the old drivers (GPU) for you so you new drivers will not have any conflicts after installing them.

A good ideal to do if you been playing with modified drivers.

Ccleaner does NOT remove drivers. it removes unused registry entries that are left behind during uninstalls, & error/incorrect registry entries. it affect's all programs, not just the GPU. in fact Ccleaner has nothing to do with hardware at all, it basically will remove the reminice of the commands the driver gives to the OS. it can also edit start-up programs, uninstall programs, clears internet cache so you dont have to run netsh in the command all the time, has some system restore options, can do a DOD wipe of your Hard drive. its a great program, really a must have for any computer for PC health reasons, but make sure you know what your doing before using it.

the program that actually removes the drivers is called Driver Sweeper.
