The official Dell website doesn't have all driver for Windows 10. A lot of stuff are missing like command keys and all so when Fn + HDMI is pressed, nothing works also no splash screen anything. So I'm confused whether we can install Windows 7 drivers on Windows 10 or what.

the fn + f9 you're referring to is not a driver it is the OSD app that controls it...just install the version suitable for 8.1.

Did you do a clean install?

Im just curious because I want to upgrade but also didn't know what drivers to use.

If you upgraded did you get a BSOD during the install process?

Not sure if this will work, but I will be trying it out myself today so I can report back. But there is an option to run the drivers in compatibility mode.

    UPDATE:
This seems to have worked! I just ran the compatibility troubleshooter and followed the instructions. There have been some lock up, and freezing, but it is significantly better than previous times.
