it extracts and nothing happens. I can see where it has extracted too but none of the files open or enable me to install.

This is the correct driver, right? I have stock wireless.

From jywang's clean install instructions. It's about moving the pagefile from the SSD to the HDD you have.
    d) Move the pagefile from C: to D:. Open System Properties and click "Advanced". Then click Settings.... Then click Advanced again. Click "Change..." under Virtual Memory. Select C:, then No page file, then Set. Select D:, then System manage size, then Set.
    e) Reboot. Then double check to see if only about 9GB is used in your SSD. If you are using more than this, then you probably didn't disable hibernate or move your pagefile off the SSD.

This frees up 3-4GB of space on your SSD.

Also you should disable hibernate if you have not already done so. Reference this jywang

I suggest you disable System Protection, that's what I did. You need to install .NET 4 for Command Center to work. I suggest you do Window's Update and refresh a few times until you find it. If you don't find it, just start installing Command Center and it will tell you you don't have it and need to install it. It will give you the option to download it from the Microsoft support website. Do this and then attempt to install Command Center again and you should be fine.

How large is the recovery? Did you disable System Protection?

I think you would have had a option to delete it when you formatted your Dell HDD. I think that's what it is from.

The recovery partition is from Dell, for reinstalling the factory OS, it has nothing to do with your current (new) SSD install. You have 2 options.
    A) You can keep it, then if you ever want to sell your computer or restore to a factory state, you can remove your SSD, boot the recovery partition, and then restore things to normal. If you go this route you can use Windows to hide the disk partition so you don't see it. If you need instructions let us know.

    B) You can delete the partition and gain the extra storage space. If you are comfortable reinstalling windows and drivers on your own, you don't need the recovery partition, but it is nice to have if you ever resale your laptop.

also, after installing your SSD, and having finished the fresh install and all drivers and apps, how much space had you used. Ive done about 21gb, is that too much?

If you feel good with the respawn disks then go ahead and delete it. I don't need the extra space, so I keep it just incase I want it one day. It probably won't be until I sell in 2 years, but it will be ready for me then. Either way it isn't a big deal.

That sounds close to normal, but you probably need to disable Hibernate which will free more space. Also if you have over 4gb of RAM it I would disable the pagefile also. Read this thread it may help.
