Hey guys, okay so my girlfriend just recently got an R3, in which I'm trying to update its drivers because of some lag in BF3, which should run great with this 6990m so I've heard.
Problem is, ANY driver version I install other than Dell's drivers for the card either BSOD or show up "Not supported" when I install them.
    Methods I've tried:
Install 11.10, 11.12, 12.1 overtop the dell drivers.
Install 11.10, 11.12, 12.1 clean install (removing in windows, than driver sweeper in safe mode, than installing them)
Each of them BSOD or show up "Not supported" and does thing such as the screen resolution only going 1200, ect, indicating they didnt install.

Now the ONLY thing that works is fresh installing the video drivers off of dell's website, thing is those are the same drivers it came pre-installed with and have the lag.

some help would be awesome, thanks guys.

Anyone? Tried searching and can't find anything other than suggestions to use driver sweeper...

My friend who also has the 6990m and the r3 also had lots of driver difficulty to play bf3 lag free. I recall he had to use driver sweeper to remove all the gpu drivers then install the dell one then one from the AMD website. I know this doesn't help much but at least you know others had the same issue.

That's exactly what I thought would be the fix but I tried it and BSOD when installing the AMD drivers overtop :(
