Hi guys, I recently installed my 7970m into my m17x R2 and I'm absolutely loving it! Such a massive difference from my 4870m's CF.

I'm investigating the possibility of installing a 2nd 7970m in my slave drive, but I've read a few issues looming around doing that.

It seems like the 240w psu is not enough to support dual 7970m's. I've seen that you can modify two of these and put them in parallel, but I don't think I have the confidence to do that. Are there any supply units out there that could support duals, at the very least on stock clocks?

My cpu is a 920xm. I only just got it as well so have not had a chance to OC it, but if I did, would it be enough to support dual 7970m's, or will i get bottlenecked?

Lastly, do I need to get a physically different 7970m? Because when I took out my 4870m's out the cards looked slightly different to each other. Like the pin connectors were on opposite sides and such, how can I tell that I would be buying the right sort of card if it's going to be my 2nd one in crossfire?
