    Hallo people,

    ive got this alienware m17x r2 920xm with 4870x2 dual,
    but i dont know how to get crossfire to work to have my 2 cards
    running at the same time i am really desperate..

    so please someone help me out and recieve 50 $ because seriously dont know what to do anymore

    Go to the catalyst control panel and enable Crossfire by ticking the checkbox for it. If it's already checked, then you probably need to check the crossfire cable connection.

    Do what joker said open the machine and check the CF ribbon/cable.
    Look for m17x teardown on YouTube there should be 2 official parts.

    You are going to need to pop open the laptop and check your cable.

    You may also want to reflash the cards with the correct master and slave vbios. (last resort if redoing the crossfire cable does not fix it)

    Now finaly you can play in bigger resolutions :D
    Just keep an eye on your temps of the cpu.
    If they getting to high, lower the overclock I did.
