    Ave,

    I have two laptops:

    Alienware M17X-R2 (ATI Radeon HD 5870 X 2 CrossfireX)
HP Touchsmart TM2 (ATI Radeon HD 5450)

Both laptops have an HDMI out.

I would like to setup Dual Monitor's in such a way that whenever needed, either of the laptops can be plugged in to get the display on the Dual Monitors. I'm hoping to buy 2 27" (or 24") HDMI capable Monitors and set them up together.

First of all, is it possible to do this? Is it possible to get Dual Monitor output via HDMI by both notebooks?
If yes, how do I do this? I know I can plug in a single monitor via an HDMI cable to an HDMI Monitor and get display on that monitor. How do I get the display to 2 monitors for a Dual-Monitor setup?

    Thanks Guys!!
