So I'm wondering If you could buy an alienware 17 machine by paying monthly?

I've checked and it said it was £52 monthly... but they're asking for a credit card?

Can't you use a debit card?

and can you ask the employees/staff at dell to reduce the monthly price?

Lastly, do I have to fill something up when trying to buy the machine via monthly costs?
+ Do I need anything to pay monthly?

Sorry for this stupid question...... Please do answer me.

THANK YOU FOR BEING PATIENT WITH ME :)

To pay monthly you need to have a Dell Preferred Account.

It's a credit line. You have to apply for it and they will determine your line of credit. I'm sure you'll find out more on Google.

Yes Dell Financial Services is who handles the financing.

You apply for financing through Dell and they set you up with a Dell preferred account and then provided you with the financing to buy the computer provided your approved. Be warned I have used it many years and and I considered it with my more recent purchases but the interest rate they offered my was horrendous. I used it on my old Inspiron and paid a fortune in interest....like enough to buy another laptop. They offered me the same interest rate on my last alienware and I just laughed...I used my stupidly lower CC instead.

From time to time they also offer interest free for usually I believe up to 12 months, so you can get the laptop financed and as long as you pay it off in the allotted time frame you don't pay any interest but if you miss that deadline they go back to the start and you get charted interest from day 1 so be aware of that.

If you can't afford to pay all at once , then the financing is an option but If you do make sure you get warranty for as long as your making payments. If would really suck if something happened and you only had a year warranty and you were making payments on a brick.

This is key if you are unwilling to do this then I would put money in a savings account until you can pay for the laptop.

    Hey, thanks.

But how exactly do I apply for it?

And can I do this via phone like say I want to buy a laptop and ask them whether I can pay monthly, will they automatically make you a financing account?

And do they calculate the monthly cost using this?

    https://financing.dell.com/payments...tor#PaymentEstimator~iaoby3nfkbkryedmlecagzcu

Is the 15.9% already added or is it £52 PLUS 15.9%

Btw, I'm not paying for it, my mum is, until I get a job (I'm 17) and then I'll be paying her back. (I'm only getting this if I get good grade; results day is aug.21

And on a scale of 1 to 5, how dangerous is this? Can anything go wrong other then not paying?

    Is there any extra charges

Sorry, I know I'm wasting your time with dumb questions, but I do hope you answer them

    THANK YOU!

You wouldn't have to apologize if you'd just use Google.

I would be careful with Dell financing... I've heard of horror stories where they keep charging even after you pay it off.. Its best you buy it upfront without paying any interest on it...

Yes, you can call in and tell the sales representative that you want to use DFS for this transaction, he will fill out the request and let you know.
