I receive the following error on my laptop:

Skipping: Eap method DLL path name validation failed. Error: typeId=43, authorId=9, vendorId=0, vendorType=0

I know it is tied with wireless hardware, but I do not know what the cause is. Searching did not provide results. Has anybody received this same error in the eventlogs?

Long time ago, when I had my XPS M1710. It was a wireless card error, and I couldn't get on my work's WiFi. Turned out to be caused by Norton. Had to uninstall it and change a registry setting to get the error resolved.
