Try rebooting. Hit F12 at the boot screen, select the SSD drive where you installed Windows (probably the Second Drive) and hit Enter. It should boot into Windows. Then go to Start>Computer, right click on the CD/DVD drive and click Eject.

My came with the Raid 0 hdd. So i have to install the 2 hdd run on raid 0 n eject my cd and install my ssd again?

No, no. Assuming you mean that SATA is set to Raid mode (as opposed to running a Raid 0 array), just proceed per the prior post. If, however, you created a Raid 0 array using the SSD and the existing HDD, then you need to start over. The SSD needs to be a separate drive in your R3, which will work fine in Raid mode, but not in Raid 0. This may be confusing if this is all new terminology. If there is a second drive shown on the boot menu (F12), select it; if there is only one drive shown (meaning you did create a Raid 0 array), select it to boot, but you need to undo the setup and do a clean install of Windows. Let's hope the simple way works.

I just install both hdd back and set it back to raid and boot it up to window and eject the cd. Now i going to try install back my ssd and continue when i last stop. God =.=.
BTW is there any fix to the media control keys? Or should i just send it back and get a new replacement instead since today is the first day i got my M17X R3
And also, to have better performance for single SSD is should set it to AHCI mode right? -

You may need to install the Alienware OnScreen Display utility (Dell support). I'm not sure. http://www.dell.com/support/drivers...rFileFormats?DriverId=PDP1D&FileId=2731104320.
That is debatable. I use AHCI, and it is generally recommended. But if you go that way, you need to switch to AHCI before reformatting the SSD and installing Windows. -
Thanks for the help. Do you know if AHCI does improve single ssd performance?

For a long time, it was said to improve performance by 12-15%. However, new versions of Intel's Rapid Storage Technology drivers may have reduced or eliminated that difference (so says Intel). I've always used AHCI with my SSD's and still do, but the advantage is no longer so clear. If this is your first SSD, you will find the increased speed and responsiveness so dramatic that any marginal difference between AHCI and Raid is irrelevant.

I tried reinstalling the OSD but is still not working. I think i will ask for a new replacement. Should i continued to install win 7 on my SSD? When my new replacement is here i can i just plug my ssd in (with win 7 installed and driver installed) n play with it straight?
-
I am confused, a replacement unit is unlikely to fix whatever problem you are having, this doesn't sound like a hardware failure. -
-
Interesting, did it work out of the box before you did the new Windows install?

Initially, i remove both my hdd on Raid and put my ssd on AHCI. Then i went along to insert my window 7 disc. After win 7 disc started to install and i have to remove it to let the ssd boot my win 7 os. When i tried to remove my cd using eject button on the top right corner it didnt work. Solution was to put my both my hdd on raid back again n run my OS and go to my computer n eject it. Took out the CD try to solve my OSD (Media control keys) and it didnt work.
Thanks for all your help and input. I have manage to some how solve my OSD issue.
