    Emergency please help me!!!!!

    In the morning, I want to test recovery disk on my Alienware m17x-r2 and then the computer shows this box



    I pressed exit and then the box is showed again :confused: :confused: next I used the Win7 to fix this problem but the box is showed again and then I format disk C to Install win 7 but this can not help me! hix :(( please help me

    what do you mean this cannot help me? it didn't budge? still the same problem? Just make a clean install of windows, repartition the drive, you should be fine

    Sounds like the recovery disc you made is bad. I believe if you have your OEM Win 7 disc you can format the disc and install windows all after you boot from CD.

    That's what you're trying to do right? You made a AlienRespawn recovery disc or something?

    Sounds like the perfect time to upgrade to an SSD. ;)

    Right click on My Computer click on manage, then disk management if you see a recovery partition then exit, reboot,hit F8 ,Repair your computer, and you should see an option to Restore to Factory or something like that.If you don't see a recovery partition you're SOL and you will have to do a clean install using the Alienware Windows 7 DVD

    use alienware windows DVD and repartition it, if it persists, then you should change HDD (an SSD is the best pc upgrade on planet, including GPU I think)
