    Hey guys,

I have an M17xR3 with the 6970. I was wondering if there was a way to configure the switchable graphics to automatically switch to the Intel GFX card when I am on battery?

I tried looking in the "Configure Switchable graphics" properties, but I don't see how to set this up. So far the only way I have been able to do this is by manually hitting Fn+F7. Have you guys found any other way?

    Best,
    cr0

There might be a way to do that with some sort of bios/software mod, but as of now there's no way of automatically switching GPU's with AMD cards, as only Nvidia cards have the feature (Optimus).

I actually prefer the manually switching though, because as I've seen, Optimus still has some bugs to work out.
