    Hi there

i notice that gaming (World of Warcraft) with my M17xR2 is nice but not how i want it, so some how i thought maybe i can disable CrossfireX and see how would things go, and the funny part was that it was better and faster.

am 100% ;) sure after useing FurMark that my CrossfireX is working cuz when i run it with single i had 33fps Avrege and max was 51 >but when enable crossfireX it had 67fps Avrege and 100Max.

so now am lost  . Dose WoW hate my CrossfireX :( ? i did update my ATI plapla from this webside.

I've seen posted in these forums somewhere that WoW doesn't work in CrossfireX mode. Something about the way that it does its rendering makes it incompatible.

Not until Blizzard themselves has crossfire support built into their games, no.

Don't blame your laptop man. You did good to get the setup you have. I played WoW on and off for years, so I'm not shooting from the hip here. WoW is poorly coded. It has cartoonish graphics that should run at 100+ FPS, but somehow don't. For $15 a month PLUS the cost of software, players deserve a game that utilizes Crossfire. The system in my sig is very capable, and I still had to dial down the shadows to get a steady 60 FPS in NR. Gimme a break. That is part of the reason my account got the nix permanently last month.

WoW's engine is exceedingly dated and poorly coded. The polycount of worgen's face nearly rivals that of an entire night elf. Little has been done to the graphics to keep as large of an audience as possible.

Disable your shadows or set it to Simple Shadows and you'll see a huge increase.

As they said above WoW does not support crossfire that goodd (if at all).

There are a few things you can try to make it work with CrossFire though...see below:

1.) make sure you don't run in windowed mode
    2.) Download & install http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/crossfirex-app-profiles.aspx
3.) make a copy of WoW.exe and Rename it to crysis.exe. Start your game with crysis.exe

Uhm..no idea if step 2&3 will do you any good (they worked for me in some other games) but it's worth a try.

    Good luck!
