Hi all. I recently screwed up the ethernet port on my M17x. So I bought a Startech expresscard slot ethernet adapter thinking I would just put that in an use it. Problem is, my laptop doesn't seem to be seeing the card. The green light on the card will light up every once in awhile but no connection. Or the laptop will see the card for a second while view network adapter properties but then it will disappear.
I don't know if there is something wrong with the card or with my expresscard slot? anyone have any ideas or problems with their expresscard slot? How would I open up the M17x to see if there is a loose connection somewhere?
    Help someone please!

Did you install the drivers for the card you bought?
