I have an intersting issue that I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced.

When I first got my R3 I bought a displayport-to-DVI cable to plug into my Dell LCD, which only accepts DVI input (among the options on the R3). This worked ok, but I had a fair number of issues getting the output and resolution all configured correctly and to stay configured correctly (the monitor is 16:10), which I concluded were likely quirks introduced by the conversion from displayport.

I recently got an HDMI-to-DVI cable and those quirks are gone, but a new one is in its place. When my display turns off after x minutes as set in my power settings, my monitor does not shut off and sits there blinking an indicator for the DVI input channel. It seems like there is still enough of a signal for the monitor to think it is receiving input so the monitor will not go to sleep and behaves like the input is flashing on and off quickly.

I realize that this could just as easily be the fault of my monitor as the R3, but I thought I'd run this by you guys to see if it was unique to me or not.

    Thanks!
