Can I use my external monitor (replacing my laptop monitor not dual monitor) on integrated graphics? Cause right now the ext monitor only works when I turn on Hybrid SLI and the fans are loud as ****. I only need hybrid SLI when im playing graphic intense games not when im surfing the internet or playing low graphic games. But without Hybrid SLI my ext mon wont work... What is the problem?

    Dell 23inch Monitor
    Alienware M17x, GeForce 9400, GeForce GTX 260M

    Thanks :)

    EDIT
On a side note, how come I cant install the graphics drivers from the nVidia website? I tried both auto detect and manual select but the install gives me the error "This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware."

    Dunno about the screen.

You need to mod the drivers if you want the Nvidia ones to work.

I have no idea. There a plenty of R2 owners with the latest Nvidia drivers on NBR. Open a new topic asking for the latest driver.
