    Extremely confused about AlienFX, urgent help needed!

    Hello. I'm on the verge of buying an m17x r4, but I'm super confused about the alienfx color thingy. I'm able to choose color when I order it, this is the colors I'm able to choose from (yeah in swedish, copypasta)
    Plasma Purple [Inkluderas i priset]
    Nova Yellow (gul) lägg till 0,00 kr
    Astral Aqua lägg till 0,00 kr
    Quasar Blue (blå) lägg till 0,00 kr
    Mars Red (röd) lägg till 0,00 kr
    Terra Green lägg till 0,00 kr

    I'm wondering if they changed something, because I've seen youtube videos where people are able to change the colors, and when I click the "learn more" on the order page, it's still telling me that AlienFX is a unique lighting system where I can change colors yada yada, question is WHY are they asking me which alienFX color I want? Am I not able to change the color as I see fit any more? Also quite confused about the Alienware Logo thing, what's that? Is it the alien on the back of the computer or what?

    I would be very grateful if anyone out there could clarify this for me! Thank you so much in advance.

    99% sure it's so they can set it up with that colour to start.

    Just choose the color you would like to see when you turn on your machine for the first time :)

    Yes, you can open AlienFx and change the colors to what you want. Just like the youtube videos.

    You can change:

    -Keyboard (4 sections)
    -Quick keys
    -Alienhead above keyboard (power button)
    -"Alienware" on screen
    -Speakers
    -Trackpad outine


    There's two alienhead logo's on the laptop. One on top of the lid that is big. You cant change its color. There is also an alienhead (power button) above the keyboard. This can be changed to the colors you wish.

    You choose your default color scheme and default wallpaper.

    They can be changed after you turn your system on. It's not a big deal, just pick and change later.
