    Any way to have the m17x with 7970m run 3 external Dell U2412M monitors which have a DisplayPort, vga, and dvi? problem is the monitors have no hdmi =S Any thoughts? i dont need the m17x screen to be on, only the 3 external ones

    what cables do i need ? which port on the m17x

    i heard that I'll need an "active" cable or something like that for eyefinity to work, is it true for the m17x? so its a mini dp to dp, vga to vga and hdmi to dvi?

    The active cable is for displayport to DVI. It's not applicable for displayport native monitors.
