Not a big deal but all of my FN keys work but the web-cam. When I press the FN key for the built in web cam it flashes on the screen but dosen't load. If I click it with my mouse it will load though. Does anyone else have this problem? I have the M17 R4 Alienware model..

Are you looking at the webcam live software? It needs to be loaded at startup to be ready when the cam is turned on. Mine auto-loaded and I get the live-central icon in the taskbar, whether the cam is on or off. You could just put a shortcut into the startup folder to: live-central.JPG

I turned mine off but I can't see anyway within the app to turn it back on again - this screenshot is from system mechanic...

    HTH ;)

Thank you for the info, I can turn it on by clicking on the icon but it wont work if I hit the fn key. I even had it load on start up in the system tray but it
still wont work when i hit the fn key..

I think all the Fn key combination just turns off or on the webcam. Any application (if started) can use it but it does not start any specific app. Mine works the same - I can use skype with it active, otherwise I just get a webcam not found error.

    Working as designed methinks ;)

This is true, the Fn key is just to disable/enable the webcam.
