    FPS drops in all games (M17x R3 6990m)

    Did we ever figure out what was going on here? As I am having a similar issue on my 6970m m17x...

    I am also having the same problems after installing a 6990m into my GT780dxr, I have read the thread and it looks like the problem here was a simple driver issue. He uninstalled the 6990m driver and the catalyst center and downloaded it again and now it works fine, no more fps drops.


    Looks like I will be doing the same tonight :D Going to remove all drivers restart laptop, then run drivesweeper, and the reg mode of CCleaner, then reboot once done and then download the new 6990 drivers and 12.1 catalyst
