hey folks. i got my m17x(single 5870) 2 days ago. Everything works great no hardware issuses at all.

So to the point. i tried to install the laster ATI 5870 ati drivers but after the 'succesfully installed' message a new one popped out saying the drivers doesnt match with my hardware. the resolution went 1600x1200( there was no option for 1920x1200 anymore) so i decided to restart it. after the restart the windows was working great with the latest drivers. few minutes later the whole system stuck and i wasnt unable to do anything. i reset it 2-3 times but i was getting a black screen(mouse pointer was visible but couldnt move) but i couldnt reach the windows.

finally i chose safe mode and i did a rollback on my drivers. working like new now but i still using the default drivers.

anyone faced any similar problem or have any suggestion? any kind of help much apprieciated.

Quick question...latest from the Dell website? or latest from the ATI website (10.8)?
