    Hi,
Normally I only really play FPS games i.e. call of Duty, bioshock, crysis etc. I'm thinking of getting Fall Out 3 - New Vegas. I've never played any of of the other Fall out games. Does it help to have played the others? I fancy something with a bit more than just the normal FPS stuff. Is it heavily RPG?

Also how's it performing on the M17x? Smooth or glitchy?

    Many thanks,
    Russ :)

Well I played it for 130 hours straight. STRAIGHT. Very good RPG game but it only works with one card.

Never tried MA2, was tempted but naah. I would go to say that it is the best RPG game I have ever played.

Fall out 3 was amazing and it appears that NV is just as great. Fall out 3 helped me get through a year long deployment in Iraq. If I wasnt on patrlol or in the gym I was playing Fall Out on my M17x.

I know you have an ATI card, but just so others know the newest NVIDIA driver (260.99) specificly mentions support for SLI.

Yeah so far only 50 hours or so in...and I still haven't done much of the main quest yet...been too busy doing side questions. I love the fallout series, all of them!

Been playing for 2 hours and really enjoying it. Seems to run smoothly on the M17x-r2. Been in a few gun fights and no slow down yet.
Quick question. How do you put your gun away so you can run quicker and get your fists back? Been into the pip thing but can't find an option? cheers!

this is false. Both of my 4870's get used. Game runs at 60+ at 1920x1200 with 8x AA pretty much 100% of the time. Both GPU's heat up also.

I should have been more specific, I meant that my 5870 do not work in crossfire for this game unless I make a custom DLL file which results in crashes.
