    Fan problems

    Okay, so how do i get my fans back to there default speed?.. i messed some with speedfan, but i dont know how to get them to there default speed anymore, nowhere it says what stock is..... can anyone of you help me with that, thankyou.

    Unless Speedfan is different, just close the program and restart. That should put you back on the system fan profile controlled by the on board EC.

    In any case, I recommend you use HWiNFO instead of Speedfan for fan control.

    for both HWiNFO and speedfan, if i shutdown the programm, and reboot it will go back to default?..

    By default do you mean the system controlled fan profile (i.e. the fan control as if the programs weren't running) or default fan profile for the program controlled fan profile (i.e. the default settings for Speedfan/HWiNFO)?

    default from the system itself, (laptop) not the program's.

    In that case, yes as long as you don't run the programs on a fresh reboot, the fan control will be under control of the system.

    Let me rephrase. As long as you don't run Speedfan/HWiNFO after you turn on your machine, the fans are controlled by the system. If you run fan control on Speedfan/HWiNFO, control of the fans are passed over to the program. Even if you close the program, the fans will be stuck on the last speed setting the program gave it before closing down. To get back to having the fans controlled by the system, you must reboot.
