    All credits to "leshcat"

    1. Uninstall all and do a clean ccleaner, driver fusion or Atiman Uninstaller

    2. Install Catalyst 12.6 UnifL UP2/3 for Hybrid Graphics, select custom install, select just the basic drivers and CCC nothing more, restart.

    3. Install Catalyst 12.8 WHQL UnifL for ATi+Intel Graphics, select 2559 during the unpacking intel drivers and choose UPDATE on the cat installer. While installing, select custom and select all EXCEPT the CCC, since you have to keep the CCC from 12.6.

Restart, all working, with 12.8 and switchable working as well.

Like I've mentioned, you have to keep the CCC from 12.6, and when you install 12.8, do a custom install and uncheck CCC and install rest. Its working perfectly at my end. Just follow the two simple steps.

No, just do a clean uninstall of previous drivers and start with the 12.6 (first link). No official Dell drivers required.

haven't seen you around in a while, you still playing ToR? As to 12.8, I have it running with my 6990m and so far I haven't really seen a difference in a much of anything. Could be I just don't pay attention to it to much though as pretty much all my games run nice and smooth regardless. :D

Or if you wanna notice any performance gain, try these New Drivers over 12.8

There is nothing else you need to install before or after these drivers. As far as links are concerned, they might be down temporary.

Sherry, when I had the 6990m we had to install dell's driver and then install the AMD launched drivers, do we have to do the same for the new enduro fixed drivers? And is there any response to how these work for the 7970M?

With these drivers, you dont have to install Dell Official drivers, just start with 12.6 UnifL directly. As far as 7970m is concerned, I have no clue since 7970m owners never had problems installing any drivers(including official) and getting BSOD, the way 6990m owners used to have.

Could you repost a working link for the Catalyst 12.6 UnifL UP2/3 for Hybrid Graphics?
Link seems to be still death.

Or can I just skip step 2????

Why dont you try these LATEST DRIVERS. Perform better in latest titles than old ones.

I'm really sorry I don't know much about this. I messed up my laptop twice trying to update the graphics drivers in the past.

I have a alienware m17x and I just want to be able to play far cry 3 with better fps.

So just to be correct. I have to delete all drivers on my laptop and then just install the drivers of the new topic?
Since those seem to be the official drivers won't it tell me something like "your hardware is incompatible" like the previous official graphic drivers???

I thank you a million time in advance for your time.
