The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Not sure if this has been posted but I know a few other people with M17x R3 have been having an issue when you try to use the volume controls on the laptop it causes the computer to crash to the desktop. Well it can be fixed if you go to support.dell.com and download the latest driver. The driver you are looking for is under applications and it is call OSD application. Hope it helps. Cheers!
