I want to flash a slave port on my M17x R4's.... NVIDIA GTX 680M. I want to do this because my other port doesnt sit properly and I have to tape it down and it's a hassle. Also this would be convenient if I wanna add some monitor(s). My BIOS is not unlocked. I have not seen an unlocked A13.....It's probably around, but I haven't seen it, (yet)

This problem started occurring after I used HDMI-in to connect my Raspberry Pi. I don't know if I didnt follow the proper procedures or whatever (just plugged it in while the computer was on and hit the F8 function key for HDMI IN Everything worked, until I rebooted and was met with this lovely issue. Took me a while to figure it out, but it's definitely the connection, not drivers or any BS like that.

Here is a link to what originally happened and my jiggling the contact between LCD and the GPU.

My main reason for this request is because I get pixels all over my screen and if I jiggle the LCD contact a certain way the screen works fine, but I've had to tape it down and it's quite a mess. I would like to get access to my slave port so I can see if my vid card is the problem, or if it's the dumb cord.

I'm open to any other suggestions besides buying a new cord or video card.

I have gotten it to work perfectly several times my twisting around the cord just right, and not neccessarily have it tight, but loose in a certain position. The issue occurs when the connection is pushed all the way in. :\

Just the opposite of what you'd expect^^^^

So yes, I just want to flash my slave port as my primary that way Ill know if it's a bad LCD cord or a bad port on the videocard. If both ports are bad then it's probably and hopefully the cord.

FYI when I try to just connect to the slave, all it does is go through testing as if I started the video testing on boot up.. (HOLD POWER + D)

Thanks for any and all replies.
