Hey, can someone guide me - on how to flash vBios with RBE to my overclocked stable clocks - 810/1050mhz, so i wont use software OC.
    Thanks in advance.

Hit the search box and type "dr650se 6990 vbios flash atiflash". That should bring it up. On my phone so I cant link at the moment.

Every time I try this it always says bad command of file. Any ideas? I used rbe to edit and saved to my bootable USB under a 6990 folder.

Do you have a copy of atiflash.exe in the same 6990 folder?

ati winflash works too, flashed my 6990 many time from windows.
just flash, reboot and all ok. no more usb stick needed.

load up the app, load image and hit program.
just to be sure HAVE A BACKUP at all times.

No. I made put atiflash on the USB and the only thing I put in my 6990m folder is the two vbios. I think that's my problem.

So I Don't have to flash the bios in Dow anymore. Nice!. Will this do both my cards for crossfire?

Put the vbios in the same folder as ATIFlash. Then it should work. Don't think winflash works with crossfire setups.

I would always advice towards flashing in DOS. This way no Windows errors can get in your way ;)

For 7970m's in Crossfire it would be the same process as i did with my 6990M? Also how can i edit vBios for OC clocks for 7970m? seems like RBE won't work :(

RBE won't support it because the vbios is far differant then the 6900 series. But yest it would be the same process. But the creater of RBE apparently doesn't want to spend the time required to support the 7970.

yes it is! i would recommend the dos flash too for the safe side.
and if you accept the risks, flash the way you want.
even so any way you flash the card brings risks with it. :D
