    Have my new alieanware m17x core i7 720m ati mobility radeon 4870 crossfire
    when i am playing games, have flickering i tried crysis warhead, end of war, supcom F.A.... in every game have flickering. but when i desable crossfire there is no flickering at all bios ver is A07 and video driver is cat 10.8.
    I have tried furmark and it works grate in fullscreen too( no flickering)
    sorry for my bad english...

    just curious, does the flickering stop if you tilt the screen to a certain angle?
    i suspect a case of pinched LCD cables here.

    Try using ATI CrossFireX Application Profile 10.8a

    Don't know if it will solve your flickering in all games, but this is what you normally have to install to get the latest fixes for CFx Support.

    OEM 10.8 or dell preinstalled 10.8? try CFX profile as sugested by Grimfan
