    Hello
Following my last post " http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/change-processor-alienware-17-r5.809409/", I ordered a processor, I mounted it, nothing wizard, but I still have the beep of death,
    result hs motherboard
so, go with your help demonter to replace motherboard,
my question, have you somewhere how to disassemble the alienware 17 r5 or a job mode to disassemble and remount
once again desolate for my English
    thank you all

7 beeps usually means CPU failure...are you sure that the new or used processor which u have bought and placed in you m17 r5's motherboard is properlly placed and tightened? and did you check your old processor and also new processor which u have bought in any other working laptop ? also check any bent pins of processor and let me know

    Thank you for your help
I already change the CPU, well reassembled, and tight in his box, always the 7 beeps, but I have no other pc to test it, nor the old and the new
the disassembly happened without real problem, there, I wait a mother card in hope that it will work
if other ideas come to mind, I'm interested
    still sorry for my english
    thank you

not cpu .. i said BOOT UR laptop without GPU(GRAPHICS CARD) if it is removable ..to reset the bios you need to remove a small coin sized cell and i would also suggest to remove rams and the battery of your laptop ...without plugging or battery or charger hold the power button(alienhead button) for atleast 10 seconds..this should reset the bios and then put everything back from where it was removed...this time try to boot without your graphics card if it is removable otherwise just ignore this step and do the rest

    hellos
I did well what you told me, disassembling graphics card that is removable (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M graphics with 2GB GDDR5), remove the battery for reset bios, battery, etc ... still it's cursed beep, there I do not know what to do, besides order a mother card on auction sites, but I have to wait almost 1 month for the reception (China)
one of the participants who will recognize that I salute in passing, my advice on the choice of motherboard,
my model is a CN-041W46 VAS00 LA-9331P and used are sold at 199.88 USD
a new type CN-05RW0M Intel LA-9331P are sold for 240,00 USD,
I think if you agree with me that I order the one at 240.00 USD
if among you a person would have this kind of parts, sometimes that ..
    thank you

A defective ram stick can also cause 7 beeps. Try booting with only a single one, testing each separately.

well that is sad...last try is to do what @t456 said above ... if still it gives 7 beeps error then just order a new motherboard

in the meantime I thank all the team who helped me
