A quick question on your feelings so far.

I have one on order due to arrive on the 21st. 460m w/3d.

    Here's my question.

Based on your current gameplay and experience with the system, are you feeling "hey, this thing runs pretty good, I don't care about the possibility of the 485 coming out" or the opposite "boy, this thing sure could run better, I wish I had waited for the 485 (assuming it launches)"?

As for the 3d itself my sense is that everyone likes it assuming you are ok with the tradeoff in performance and battery life?

Thanks. I'm trying to make a decision on cancelling and waiting but would prefer not to wait if the general concensus is that the system handles pretty much everything you throw at it pretty well and you are all satisfied :)

    plagiarism! lol j/k... :D

anyway, I think its really relative..you may think big boned girls are not attractive, but for some they are the most beautiful thing in the world..

don't let others word to confuse you..I notice many people here are in favor of the battery life rather than the 3D..however, if you end up liking the 3D, don't return the laptop just because you want to join the majority..

btw i have my r3 on the way with EDD 16th of Feb..same specs like you :D

I'm not a big fans of 3D, but the 120hz screen is the catch..So if one day I end up returning it, its not because the performance vs battery life thing, but its because I may not like the 3D..

Well, the question is about satisfaction relative to performance not battery life (that's why I stated assume that everyone is ok with the tradeoff).

Since when has gamers cared about battery life? You can't play a game on battery anyway...

3D is the way to go.

thanxxx for the info, I am getting mine at the end of feb, hopefully they will be fixed by then. and to expand on the thread, I have heard only good things about the R3. It can handle what two 260m cards can no problem. and 3D on top of that!?! how can yo go wrong?

As for the bat life, how often do you find yourself gaming (really gaming) on on the bat? If however I hear of any AW release dates for the 480m, I may hold off buying my new R3 till AW offers it in system configuration.
