    Hi all

I formatted my W8 because of some serious software errors. Anyway, my 1TB HDD for storage cannot be identified (OS installed on 256gb mSATA and all good there). Weirdly, the 1TB is seen in BIOS. I've tried to initiate it but the drive cannot be found, and is not present in disk management either.

So, does anyone know what's going on?

    any help much appreicated.

Have you tried moving it to the other bay? Might kick it into life...

Apolgies for the slow reply, guys.

I got fed up with it and so I phoned Dell who advised that the HDD is likely damaged (?) and so they've sent out a new one which is due today. Let's hope that clears everything up. Thanks for the assistance anyhow ;-)

Hopefully that'll do the trick. Putting it in a different slot could also help out.
