    That is a adapter from the mini-jack spdif optical to normal spdif optical kables :)

    Do not use the adapter it will mess up your motherboard.

    colorware didn't want to do it. i ended up going to my friends auto repair shop and had him paint it for me.

    So how much did it cost? And was the process tough? I assume the lid is a b*tch to paint on as it's rubberized material...

    my friend only charged me for the paint pretty much, so it was $100, but i'm guessing it would cost about $250 for everything. the process wasn't that bad since i left the rubber on, just primered and painted straight on top of it.

    There was a thread, using the adapter caused some problem due bad design.
