So it would seem if I leave my laptop alone for more then 45min it freezes up. I have no screen saver on, it's running on high performance with sleep/hibernate all the junk turned off... When it's frozen nothing works at all, keyboard and mouse is totally non-responsive and I'm at the log in screen, which I would like to have it stop logging me out as well. One other problem is my pointer speed options reset everytime the computer is turned off. If you can help with any of these problems preferably the freezing it would be appreciated. If more info is needed just let me know.

    -Freezing when left alone
-Mouse pointer options reset on shutdown

Can you upload the latest dump file in found in C:\Windows\LiveKernalReports\WATCHDOG

whenever a crash or freeze happens, the watchdog is there to write about it, upload the latest file dump file

There was nothing in the Livekernalreport folder. I am running windows7 if that makes any difference. Noticed I hadn't mentioned it in previous post. Anything else I can try to get you the info you need?

hmm well i have windows 7 too, and when something crashes there is always a watchdog folder in livekernalreports folder.

try the event viewer > windows logs > applications

and are you on the latest BIOS? (BIOS not VBIOS)

edit: i have noticed that you have a CCC version different than the latest Dell CCC (i doubt that its the problem but its something to consider)

Sorry about the slow reply been busy with xmas. What exactly do you need from the event viewer? There seems to be a couple things going on there. In the last 7 days there's been 44 error's and 1 critical error >.<. I checked my bios version and it's A09 which seems to be current.
