I'm sure people have asked this countless times, but I've searched and come up empty. So here we go!

Long story short: I'm running the audio and video from my M17x R2 into a Samsung SyncMaster via HDMI. I very recently reformatted the beast and reinstalled all the appropriate drivers - even upgraded to the new ATI 12.1 preview or whatever the deuce. In fullscreen, the freakin' thing won't stop flickering! Windowed is fine. I know for sure I had this problem before and I fixed it somehow, but the new CCC layout is not playing nice with my brains.

If anyone can help me out with this, I will bake you cookies and shout your name from the rooftops and such.

In the meantime, keep being excellent!

Okay, my problem is much worse than I previously anticipated. Textures and lighting are flickering in games such as Skyrim.. weird psychadelic green textures are appearing and disappearing. What the deuce?

well, it makes sure you are running with the discrete graphics (your ati cards) instead of integrated

I think I may have fixed it! Disabled something called Catalyst AI and that seems to do the trick! I do encounter random bouts of lagging, though. Will last for about 10 seconds and then go back to normal. :S

    you didn't fix anything.

Disabling Catalyst AI, disables Crossfire aswell so right now you are only running on 1 Gpu and not 2.

so your problem is still there as it is your second Gpu there is defective
