Since I own a Alienware m17x-R3. Is it possible to eventually change the GPU [Nvidia 460m] For a Radeon HD6970 ? Or even a Nvidia 485M ? If yes, How hard is it to change it ?

6970 yup. 485 probably not. Easy to upgrade if you can open up a computer.

As far as the 485, well it works inplace of the 460 but the 3d won't work with it. I actually purchased the 485 but failed to get it to work inplace of my 460. Because of the failed install my motherboard crashed and I need a new one. I'm not sure what I did wrong, I followed all the steps the right way. -
I'll make the change done by a professional

And I don't have a 120hz screen, I have 1920x1080, FHD 60 FHZ

I live in Canada as well and I told the guy to add the GPU manually. What is the conf. you ordered? -
I think I will cancel my order and take that instead
intel 2630
4g ( changing to 8g HyperX )
radeon hd6970
320G ( instead of 750 of my old order )
wireless card 6230
what do you think ? -
