    Hello,

I'm looking into things that can lower my gpu temps and learned that changing the thermal pads can repasting will do so. I already plan on ordering some paste however, I was wondering if it is really worth it to change the thermal pads to the fujipoly ones from frozencpu? If so what temps does it lower in HWiNFO32 (Shader, MemIO, DispIO) and will it be significant?

Usually when my GPU is under load my shader temps are much higher than everything else...would a repaste lower that?

Reason im asking all this is that if changing the thermal pads to fujipoly isnt gonna make a significant drop in temps i can just skip ordering from frozencpu and buy my paste from amazon (frozen cpu shipping isnt free).

    Thanks for your time

Thermal Paste on the GPU is better to use than thermal pads. Get the IC Diamond 24 carat from frocencpu, that should lower the temps a lot over the standard thermal pads that Dell use.

the stock pads are actually decent. i would just leave those alone. most here just go with the the thermal paste.

If i were to change them though what temps would it lower? The shader, memIO, or dispIO? Im just worried because my shaders get much higher than everything else.

All of the above. Fujipoly pads are a vast improvement over the gunk Dell uses.

I agree. The stock pads on mine had pretty much disintegrated before I replaced them.

Mmmm I like the sound of that. Is there anywhere else i can find fujipoly pads besides frozencpu?
