So, using the bluescreenview program, I have recorded 18 bsods in 3 weeks(I've only owned this laptop for 3 weeks T_T)

15 of them from the gpu.

    How about everyone else?

    (Using the 460m nvidia)

I do not have a 460m, but I hope my answer will be able to help you.

I have had 2 bluescreens from my 5870m cards within the timeframe of a month. Irregular bluescreens can happen to anyone.

15 bluescreens in 3 weeks indicates that your gpu is faulty. Dell would not sell the 460m with R3 if it causes bluescreens that often, nor would people buy that card.

Have Dell replaced that card since the last time we spoke? If they have, make them replace the motherboard aswell.

Have a great day and good luck :)

No, the local tech hasn't called yet saying he's received the gpu and motherboard.

Hoping to complain if the next card doesn't work, and pretty much going to demand a better non 460m card if the replacements doesn't work T_T.

I should be allowed to play 2009-2010 games with the nvidia gpu without random issues. The one game that causes bsods also just happens to be League of Legends.

Should I call tech support if the next card doesn't work, or immediately ask for the manager and hope things go better with that?

Or attempt to call the fabled Costa Rica alienware office?
