What are your temp differences. My rig is m17x Rev 2 with CF 5870s. During Furmark testing GPU 1 gets to about 85 and the other is 71. Is that normal? What accounts for the discrepancy?

u need to use furmark multigpu to utilize the second card...

i am.... what should the temps be? I would assume one should be hotter based on the GPU utilization..no? Both cant always work at the same rate right?

Actually it is quite normal to see a 10 degree difference between both GPU's due to load distribution. I see this within my own setup as when idle I see 40 degrees on master and 30 on my slave while on full load I'll see 80 on my master and 70 on my slave.

Very Normal.
For me, my slave runs a bit hotter than my master (about 5C hotter).
It is consistently 5C hotter no matter what I am doing (idle or full load).
This is most likely due to my repaste of the GPU's where the master was just done a little bit better... but overall my temps are a LOT lower so I am not worried.

Can anyone explain this: I ran 3dmark 06 and got 19670 and when I used GPUZ to look at max temps I got:
GPU1: 75
GPU2: 45
is going on? That basically isn't even using the second GPU. I am noticing this on Crysis as well. But the score seems right 920 and 5870CF with only the 5% OC in bios. Is the second GPU really that underutilized? I only stress the second one when I run Furmark?
edit: CS:S and L4D are both bringing the second CPU temp to 70. So why isn't 3dmark and Crysis? Obviously my score means that CF is working for 3dmark...I just don't think Crysis is working properly. Grrrr
GPU temperature discrepancy?
