    Is Dell shipping their GPU's with their own custom BIOS and more importantly if you flash the GPU with standard Nvidia/AMD BIOS could you cause the GPU to no longer function in a DeLL system ? sort of like adding their own tamper proof key to stop individual upgrades and extreme overclocking, I can understand why they would do this as they probably replace many GPU's and CPU's under warranty at their cost because people fry them.

    That is a yes Geo, a good example can be the clevo and Dell 5870 or even the GTX 285m they put in the R2 have different stock voltages and not only from a non dell 285m.

    Can the stock R3 that Dell provides be modded to work, e.g. change in clock. If so what tool work for AMD GPU's?
