Specs are in my sig. Anyone with a similiar rig? Mind sharing how well GTA 4 works for you? For me, it's been disappointingly poor. At 1920x1200, Very High settings for most, Vsync on, I get an average of 25-30 fps. Every now and then, it hiccups to 10 fps or less. :/

I tried running it at 800x600 with max settings but managed only 40fps on average, fluctuates to 20 or less occasionally.

Even with min settings and 800x600, I get 65-70 fps on average, drops by 20 frames or so, to 35-40 from time to time.

Still trying to find the best configuration for my rig. Would appreciate any feedback. Also, I tried the -availablememory x.xx + force resolution fix but to no avail, GTA4 still runs at 800x600 and the available mem is still 2000mb.

On a sidenote, I did notice how it recognized my dual video card after the VBIOS/BIOS/driver update. Prior to the update, it only listed 1000mb as the available video mem. No increase in performance though. Still laggy and choppy as hell.

    EDIT:
Looks like view distance and detail distance (to a lesser extent) are the culprit. Scaling them all the way down to 1 increased framerates from 20+ to 38-42-ish. Strange thing is, no more stutters now. Weird. Guess I'll have to settle with Max settings, 1920x1200 resolution and minimum on all distances, view, detail, car and shadow density.

So you didn't notice any performance increase after the updates? its showing 701/1,000 on mine but it seems to be playing perfectly smooth on stock settings at 1,440 x 900
