since installing the new 320.18 nvidia driver i can't switch the integrated display.
i have the M17x with the GTX 260m card, but the system is stuck on the 9400 card, even if i pres the button to switch them i get the notification that the full power mode is on but nothing happens.
ive checked with the device manager and the 260 is detected and working properly.

can i fix it or i have to go back to an older version?
    using win 7.

    tnx!

go into bios and enable hybrid graphics, check to make sure that bios is correctly configured.

Luckily this problem sounds like it might be related to the blank screen problem and not the burnout on factory OC'd cards...

With my R1 due to so many issues I just stick with the Dell OEM driver for my SLI 260m's, granted my wife uses that PC now since I have an R4, but those cards still run like champs.

Safest way to avoid all the issues introduced to support the new cards - if you're not chasing those extra FPS in a new game no need to update IMO.

considering the tech is over four years old... chasing FPS is just a losing battle.

That is our anti-spam filter that isn't working properly, we expect to have a fix by monday, what's happening to you shouldn't happen. Sorry for the inconvenience.

True but there IS the newer SLi profiles that may make a bigger difference in this case?

Yeah, it's playing havoc with trying to follow my own posts - and the fact that you still receive an email with ALL the missing post in it anyway. Hope you get it sorted soon ;)

Yeah, it's playing havoc with everyone but supermods and admins. Even Mr. Fox had some of his posts flagged. Here's the official statement from the admins: http://forum.notebookreview.com/sit...nts/716582-delayed-posting-4.html#post9239471. You can also let us know if it happens to you in this thread and it hasn't been approved after a couple of hours. It should be taken care of easily during the day, but during the night (eastern time 'ish) it may take longer.

thumbs up for the 260, as i said i run a single card but i love how it performs!
thought to upgrade to dual 260 or 280.
found a post somewhere on this forum that i can cram two 280 (the max that the power supply can handle on the R1).

may be i get some response here, ive tried the 320 and the 314 drivers non of them work even when it says the full power mode is on it still runs only on the 9400 card.

as i said at the beginning of the post in the device manager everything is fine, the hardware is working properly.

i hope i didnt screw up the 260m with that damn(!) 320 driver.

well what im asking for now is a driver version that should work with the GTX 260m.
